Track and Paper Selection Process Our objective: further developing the quality of research within the EURAM community. Based on the success of past EURAM conferences, including the positive experience with the innovation made for the EURAM 2007 Conference in Paris, which institutionalized the Scientific Committee of EURAM Conferences, we decided, for EURAM2008, to further develop discussions and exchanges around papers of the best quality possible. In order to meet this objective we took the following steps:
65 tracks proposals were submitted this year, much more than what the conference can accommodate. We provided the SC members with a standard evaluation form for track proposals. Each track proposal was evaluated by two different Scientific Committee members, and ranked against four or five other track proposals addressing the same broad academic domain. Based on the average rank, the organization committee selected the 30 top ranked tracks. The description of the selected tracks and the related call for papers will be posted on the EURAM 2008 website in the last week of September 2007. In order to have time to complete a thorough review process, the deadline for the submission of full papers is 27 January 2008. Should you have any questions, do not hesitate to contact the Organizing Committee at euram@iedc.si |
